PER Course practice and theory

PER nautical qualification Attributions – Leisure Boat Master

Steering of motor leisure boats and sailboats (if sailboat optional practice is made) up to 15 meters length and 24 meters length and sailing between the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands (if optional regulation practice of attribution increase is made). Day and night boat sailing in the area between the coast and a parallel line, up to 12 miles from the coast, and between islands inside Balearic and Canary Islands.

PER qualification Requirements – Leisure Boat Master

To obtaining PER qualification (Leisure Boat Master) is required:

• Being 18 years old
• Making a medical test. Psychotechnical test
• Passing the PER theoretical Exam with 45 questions or 18 if you have PNB qualification (in this case only a part of PER theoretical course is made with a cost of 150 euro)
• Making PER obligatory practice with VHF radio (12h)
• Making PER security and boat sailing obligatory practice (16h)
• Optional sailboat practice (16h) (once made, this practice is validated for next nautical qualification exams)

PER qualification Price – Leisure Boat Master

• PER theoretical course: 300 euro + Xunta fees
• PER obligatory motor boat practice (16 hours): 200 euro
• PER obligatory radio practice (12 hours) : 150 euro
• PER qualification Pack: theory + obligatory practice + sailboat: 800 euro
• Radio – Motor – Sailboat Pack: 500 euro
• Pack Radio – Motor – Sailboat – 24m extension: 650 euro
