Yacht Captain qualification Attributions

Yacht Captain Qualification enables to manage motor leisure boats and sailboats (if sailboat optional nautical practice is made) for private use (more than 24 meters length, less tan 3000GT and 12 passengers) and to sail boats without geographic limits. Steering of jet skis.

Yacht Captain qualification Requirements

• Being 18 years old
• Having Yacht Master Qualification
• Making a medical test. Psychotechnical test
• Making a theoretical exam with 40 questions
• Making 48 hours of sailing nautical practice (minimum 36 in a journey) in a nautical approved school
• Making a 12 hours theoretical-practical course with a short range radio in a nautical approved school (validated if PER qualification course or yacht master qualification course are made)
• Optional sailboat practice (16h)

Yacht captain qualification Price

• Yacht Captain Theoretical course: 450 euro
• Obligatory Motor Boat Practice (48 hours- journey): 450 euro
• Obligatory Radio Practice (12 hours): 150 euro.
